Meiomi Pinot Noir 2015
This is the brand's first bottling under new ownership, and the result of this blend of Monterey, Sonoma and Santa Barbara county fruit is familiarly ripe—due in part to the inclusion of 10% Merlot, 6% Chardonnay and 2% Syrah. Pomegranate, clove, vanilla and rum aromas lead into a juicy palate of candied red fruit, slate, anise and Earl Grey tea. It's slightly sweet but easily enjoyable. MATT KETTMANN
DeLoach Vineyard Swicegood Pinot Noir 2014
Our 2014 vintage of the Swicegood Pinot Noir opens with alluring aromas of cola, currant and baking spice. Richly complex flavors of cherry, ripe raspberry, licorice and tobacco coat the palate of this full bodied, well-structured wine that culminates in a long, satisfying finish. Our chef suggests pairing it alongside a spiced seared duck breast.

Blackberry, cassis, plum and currant aromas greet the nose, surrounded by black
olives, anise, leather and cigar box. Notes of graphite and crushed stone mingle with just a hint of cool mint.
Robust and full bodied, an undercurrent of restrained power is palpable just below the surface at thecore of this wine. Firm, fine grained tannins provide ample backbone for the layers of boysenberry, black cherry, licorice and dried herb flavors. Meaty and fleshy while retaining an overall elegance, it finishes with
authority and finesse.

The 2015 Louisa is made with 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc sourced from Margaret’s Vineyard. Barrel aging in French oak contributes to Louisa’s rich and silky mouthfeel.
