Cru Moulin à Vent is located in the northern part of Beaujolais. Moulin-à-Vent is ruby to dark garnet in color with floral and fruity aromas. Full-bodied and complex, this wine has hints of iris, spice and ripe fruit. When young, they feature a dominance of violet and cherry flavors. After a few years, the bouquet develops aromas of iris, spice and ripe fruit. Enjoy with garlic chicken, a fat rib steak, pasta with meat in red sauce and with goat cheeses.

Made in the shadows of the beautiful walled city of Carcassonne and bisected by the calm Canal Du Midi. The garnet red color opens with blackberry, raspberry and chocolate aromas followed by hints of tobacco and gravel. A touch of buttered bread as well. Good length on a lingering and harmonious finish reminds one of the first impressions. The 2013 Domaine de la Mijane won a Gold Medal at the Concours des Vignerons Independants in Paris. Pairs very well with rib roasts, game, duck breasts, charcuterie and soft cheese. Drink now but will also age nicely for 5-7 years.
