In the music of West Africa, there’s history, loads of cultural significance, and definitely, a very pronounced rhythm…and then there’s you. Let yourself feel the power of the movement, of the drumbeat, and don’t overthink it. The djembe drum is said to have a healing effect for the world’s ills. Spread the beat and have so much fun doing it.
Gift certificate for three (3) African Dancing or Drumming Classes in the Guinea, West African tradition with Mimo Camara & Pam Lord Camara. All levels welcome!
Classes take place in Kingston, NY or Stone Ridge, NY.
