"Incredibly fun strategy game that teaches kids to think big things while mastering the hardest to learn addition and mulitiplication facts, U.S. state geograpy, and the mechanics of the Electoral College.
Double-sided gameboard includes addition and multiplication game versions on color-coded electoral maps, with varying levels of complexity based on player skill level.
The game uses the patent pending PlaySmart Dice system, a uniquely numbered 12-sided dice system that makes harder to learn math facts easy to remember with masterfully conceived game play.
Comes with two dry erase markers and two decks of strategy cards.
Award winning game great for game nights, family play or classroom fun. Winner of 2019 Parents Choice Gold Award, Mom's Choice Gold Award, and more."
"Two players or teams battle for critical electoral votes in a gripping race for the presidency. Use your dice pool to choose products or sums that could help you the most. Strategically target key states with freezes and rerolls to counter your opponent's progress, and be quick to adapt strategy as conditions change. Lock down quick victories in states with smaller vote numbers or work for longer-term objectives in states with larger totals on your way to gaining the 270 electoral votes you need to become President. 2019 Parents Choice Gold Award Winner. Mom's Choice Gold Award Winner. Tillywig Brain Child Award Winner."
Reviews:
"Great games for kids and parents!
We got this on the recommendation of a friend who had played it with their kids.
Ours were a little younger but took the chance and love playing it with them.
Our children are in Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade and all enjoy playing it. The youngest is learning his states and loves watching his brothers add the dice and find the state they want to claim.
Our 1st grader has increased his math skills and knows almost all of his states. Great improvement over just a few sessions.
You can play this game for their age or older with another side that uses multiplication and other higher level math to score points. The 3rd grader is excelling at math now and is well above grade level.
Try it out, it is worth the money and makes a great gift for your kids classrooms if they allow educational games!"
"We love this game it is so clever. Great job to the designers. It's fantastically good fun using arithematic in a fun way where you just don't realise you're practising math skills. We just get into the strategy of placing our electoral votes where we want. Playing republicans and democratics in a fun way is great for getting kids used to politics without all of the party politics, but in a way that just helps you understand the system. Get to practice geography too with working out the names and locations of the US States (I always mix up the ones in the middle!)
2 games in one with one game board, multiplication and addition in one game, and the other is subtraction and division. Plus there are 2 levels of play so it is brilliant for any age. My son is 22 and we had a great laugh playing and with a number of strategies I don't think we will get fed up with this game fast. Also, you can play it with 2 or more players so I can't wait to play with friends."
"My son and I love to play board games and as a mom, any opportunity to add fun to a learning experience is an added bonus.
My initial reaction to the game is that it is visually stimulating and offers a myriad of options for how the game could be played. From addition to multiplication 2 to unlimited players, made it easy for 2 of us to play together.
The erasable marker and board provided a sustainable benefit that many traditional board games don't offer. No need to hunt down paper to keep score or try to find refills.
My son and I got competitive over who was going to pick which state for their campaign and he kept me in check as I added electoral votes to my tally. He kept saying "this is the best game ever". We will be sure to keep this game in rotation for our family game nights!"
