About the artist: Madison Holland is an artist living and working in Seattle, Washington. She graduated with a BFA in printmaking from The San Francisco Art Institute. It was there she honed her usage of intricate repetitive patterns. Most of her work deals with organizing chaos and creating her own renditions of imagined landscapes. She spent five summers as a camper at Nor’wester and five as a staff member, two of which she was craftshop director. It was here on this magical island she fell in love with creating art and learning as many different processes as possible. She teaches elementary school art in Seattle and when not in the classroom she can be found wandering the beaches of Washington in search of interesting rocks. www.madholla.com
