Get to know Janet and Mark. They were among the founders of Live Oak, where their daughter, Johanna, attended the first Kindergarten. Janet was the Rosemary Kindergarten teacher for 10 years and then joined the Rudolf Steiner College faculty to become their first Director of Early Childhood education. After 12 years, she returned to Live Oak as the Sunflower Pre-School teacher for 6 years. She is now "retired" serving as mentor to Waldorf early childhood programs AND enjoying her 3 grandchildren during prolonged family visits to and from Paris, France.
