Description

Small Native American seed pot from Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. Intricate and beautifully executed design of insects and a fish in unglazed black, red, and natural colors. The insect design is particularly distinct. 


4.25" wide x 3" high, with a 1.25" diameter opening.


Marked on bottom: Initial M, Acoma, N.M. Probably purchased in late 1980's. Very good condition with a few minor smudges.

This item may be picked up at BGHP between 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). Please call us to schedule your pick up during this crazy COVID-19 times - masks are required. We are willing to make arrangements for afterhours and weekend pick-ups.
