The bones contained in this basket are larger than pictured.
Rover's Choice bones come from USDA inspected beef, raised locally on the northcoast of California. Humboldt County’s mild climate and seasonal rainfall means that grass-fed beef can be raised naturally year round, giving Rover’s Choice a steady supply of bones.
Each batch is processed by hand. Bones are cut to length and refrigerated in a brine solution for approximately 5 days. They are smoked at 180 degrees for 24 hours in our purpose-built smokers using a blend of sustainably-harvested cherry, apple, plum, and other species. Bones are then transferred to a drying room for further moisture removal.
Everything added to the process is food-grade. We use no preservatives.

This item may be picked up at BGHP between 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). Please call us to schedule your pick up during this crazy COVID-19 times - masks are required. BGHP is open Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm Pacific Time, special pick-up times can be arranged. 707-825-8345 or email Rosegz@hcbhp.org. We will be closed on November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving. We are willing to make arrangements for afterhours and weekend pick-ups.
