Description

Annette Makino has donated an unframed digital print.  She chose it as a special contribution to our on-line auction because it may resonate with bidders during these uncertain times of COVID-19.

As lovely as it is on the computer screen, this piece is even prettier in real life.  It is signed by the artist.  The haiku reads:

"mountain meadow
ten thousand ways
to open into grace"

Artist's statement about this piece: Orange poppies, purple lupine and a host of other wildflowers blanket a mountain meadow in this evocative print. The original haiku offers a Zen sense of unlimited possibility.

This is an 11" x 14" print.

Annette Makino is an artist and haiku poet who combines Japanese-inspired paintings with original words.  Her pieces express quiet reflection and Zen humor.

Made in Humboldt County, California.
