In 2012 Thiera was introduced to the world of Traditional East Asian Medicine, and although her background in Western thought initially provoked skepticism, the overwhelmingly positive changes she had in her personal health while being treated with Acupuncture, Herbs, and other Eastern Modalities created a passion for this relevant and effective medicine that led Thiera to pursue her Masters Degree at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-Chicago.

Thiera is dedicated to making Traditional East Asian Medicine accessible to as many people as possible. She currently works with underserved populations in Chronic Pain Clinics, providing acupuncture in Rogers Park, and is alsoavailable for private treatments, offering a variety of healing styles, in Logan Square.
