DANK Haus Chicago has served as the city’s German-American Cultural Center since 1959. From its location in the historically German neighborhood of Lincoln Square, DANK (which stands for Deutsch Amerikanischer National Kongress, or German American National Congress) hosts hundreds of German-focused classes, exhibits, and events throughout the year that pay homage to Chicago’s rich history of German settlement.

DANK offers German language classes for everyone from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Semesters are 16 weeks long and are geared towards learners of all types. The winner of this auction will receive a certificate for one semester’s worth of classes, which will be taught at 4740 North Western Avenue in Chicago.
