We are Takoyaki Yamachan and serve authentic Osaka-style Takoyaki. We currently have two locations in Honolulu, Hawaii and this is our newest location in the city of San Francisco. Takoyaki is a savory Japanese street food in the shape of a ball and is cooked in a special cast iron griddle to get its signature shape. This addictively delicious bite-sized eat originated in the Osaka prefecture of Japan in 1935. Takoyaki is made up of four main parts: the slightly crisp shell, doughy inside and a piece of octopus tucked inside and of course, toppings that range from traditional to creative.
