Diane Rooney, M.S., L.Ac. Dipl. OM, has a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture, Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, License in Massage Therapy, National Certificate in Reflexology, and voted a Worldwide Leader in Healthcare in 2015. She is an ordained Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister from One Spirit Learning Alliance. She practices Guided Imagery, Aromatherapy and is a Reiki Master.

Diane has spearheaded the Integrative Therapies Program for Children and Adolescents at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Department and has worked in the Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer at New York Presbyterian. She is also initiating a pilot volunteer program for the Kulungile Home for Children in South Africa.

Diane is a coauthor to many research articles along with the book “Integrative Strategies for People with Cancer”. She is the author of the Grumpy Fish Book whose purpose is to empower children by teaching them self-care techniques for the side effects of their medical protocols.

She wrote, produced and narrated a CD of guided imageries for the side effects of cancer and is a senior faculty member at Tri-State College of Acupuncture teaching acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to students since 2002.
