"I'm an American History Professor: Ask Me Anything"

Item Number: 398
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
What did the framers of the US Constitution actually think about impeachment? What was it like to be a Native American in early New York? What caused the American Revolution? How did Christians in the early American republic worship? Is Thomas Jefferson "cancelled"?
I am a Columbia professor of American history and would be happy to prepare a brief, accessible lecture and/or informal group conversation on a topic of your choice. No background knowledge required. I can host at my apartment in Morningside Heights or we can convene at your place. I'll also provide snacks and beverages for up to 10 people. My area of specialty is early American history (pre Civil War) but if you want to talk about something Civil War or later, we can absolutely do that instead.
