Description

This is a "one of a kind" box, designed and woven by Kamene, entirely created by foot!  How did she keep the edges so square?

Kamene is a student at the Disabled Children's School, located in Machakos, Kenya.  She was born without proper function in both her arms.  Amazingly, this determined young lady learned how to utilize her feet to provide useful functions that most able bodied individuals use thier hands for.  She can pick up items, draw, and weave with her feet.

Your donations will help Kamene, and other students at the Disabled Children's School, to have a safe and sustainable water source. Plus the Water For Children Africa project is seeking to provide school supplies and personal handwashing hygiene stations for the educational facility.
