Description

One time use of the beautiful and elegant Queset House for a five-hour event, for up to 100 guests. Rental subject to dates and times available.

This historically elegant facility is part of the Ames Free Library complex and named for the stream which meanders through its beautiful grounds. Built in 1853-4 by Oakes Angier Ames, it is a stone English Gothic style house, with several elegant rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, as well as beautiful walled gardens, sloping lawns and a restored path to the recently restored Italianate Queset Gardens. It is ideal for small to medium-sized events.
