It is inspired by the artist's love of the ocean and the lovely, flowing beauty of leafy sea dragons. The dimensions are 9'' X 12" and was hand cut using both paper and print.
Caroline Self is a contemporary, expressionist, abstract artist, inspired by the vivid paint colors and textures made famous by Vincent Van Gogh, the grittiness of graffiti, and the unique abstractness of paintings by Wassily Kandinsky and Willem de Kooning. Her passion blends color and texture into a poetry of fluidity, tension or juxtaposition. Caroline's art is intended to be reflective and dare the viewer to look further.
