Originally opened in 1975 in Lexington, we moved to our current location in Arlington Center in 1999. We have over 30,000 used books that we sell at 50% off cover price. You can also bring in your gently used books for trade points to reduce the price of your used books.  

The Book Rack has many genres including kids, mystery, sci fi, history, romance, cookbooks, and more. 

Looking for something new?  We have a great selection of new books up to 30% off cover, and we can order almost anything and have it for you in days. We also carries Melissa & Doug products and other board games.

Special orders are always at least 20% off.

Book Club orders (minimum quantity of five) are 30% off.
