Laura Summerhill, a Veritas Parent and fiber artist / quilter came and taught our art students how to dye fabric in the ancient Japanese Shibori style. This indigo dyed fabric is very fashionable now and our students’ beautiful pieces have been combined to make a full size quilt. Students have learned about quilting in art and have hand stitched the quilts together.
