Welcome to theOFFICE. Founded by screenwriter/entrepreneur Aleks Horvat, we have been serving up a zen, distraction-free space for Hollywood screenwriters, novelists, journalists, students, designers and other creatives since 2004 (we’re one of the first coworking spaces in the country). Many of our members have been with us from the beginning. This is where they come to GET IT DONE.

theOFFICE is not your typical coworking space. No conference rooms. No private offices. Here, you are alone… together. With only the sounds of a trickling fountain and tapping keys, there is a focused energy in the room that heightens inspiration and productivity.

Whether you like working at your own desk, a communal table, a standing desk or just curled up in a cozy lounge chair, there’s a spot here for everyone. And it’s all ergonomic (Steelcase, Aeron, etc) so you won’t get fatigued on those writing marathons. There’s also a separate lounge with kitchenette, locker storage and cafe tables for lunch and phone calls.
