For Art's Sake was founded in 1994 by Debbe Heller, a book illustrator and art teacher at P.S. 87.Art is created in a spacious, well lit studio located on the Upper West Side at West 77th Street nearby to PS 87, PS 9, PS 166, PS 199, PS 452, Computer School, Anderson Program, The Center School, Manhattan School for Children,and Booker T Washington.

My studio also serves students from NYC private schools including Rodeph Sholom, The Heschel School, Horace Mann,Ethical Culture, Columbia Grammar, Rudolph Steiner, and more.
