If you have been wanting to learn (or re-learn) to knit, this class is for you! Join FTCNS parent Betsy Birkey for a two-part small-group class, open only to other FTCNS parents. At the end of the class you will know how to cast-on and bind-off, knit, purl, increase and decrease, and use knit and purl in combination to create decorative stitches. We will also talk about choosing the right yarn and needles for a project and deciphering those mysterious written knitting patterns. This is all while hanging out in the comfort of Betsy's living room with no kids around! Class dates are on two consecutive Sundays: April 19th 2-4 PM and April 26th 2-4 PM. Please plan on attending both Sundays! Participants will need to supply their own needles and yarn. If you have some on hand, bring what you have, or Betsy can make suggestions if you don't. Participants will be contacted before the class via email.
