Visit the towns and historic sites nearby, including Carcassonne, Narbonne, le Canal du Midi, Perpignan, les Châteaux Cathares, Lagrasse, l'Abbaye de Fontfroide, Céret, Collioure and Tautavel. Arrive by air (Toulouse or Barcelona) or by train (Narbonne or Perpignan). It is just a 30-minute drive from the Mediterranean, there is wonderful hiking and biking easily accessible from the house, and the Sentier Cathare passes through the village.
 
A recent visitor from Oregon offered the following recommendation: "It is a lovely place, quiet, with a very nice fenced yard and pool, well furnished, a very well equipped kitchen, with a kind woman who welcomed us and made sure that we had everything we needed, knew where to find things, etc.; ideal in every way!... Very comfortable for two couples or even two couples with children."
