About Adrianne: "I am a physician with a life-long interest in art and painting. As an avid hiker, backpacker and wilderness seeker, I am inspired by beautiful landscapes, particularly those of the Pacific Northwest. In these spaces, light conveys countless moods as it intersects with water, soil, and sky. These are my favorite subjects. With many of my pieces, I use a combination of plein air techniques and photographic references. This allows me to capture the feeling of the moment I spent in a physical space while imagining and interpreting."
