Vintage poster of Elitch Gardens in Denver. 27” x 38” poster. In its heyday, Elitch Gardens was quite the amusement park. The site was sold and subsequently developed for real estate. I visited a very interesting co-housing community there. One structure remained from the Elitch days, namely, the twelve-sided building that one contained a carousel. I was commissioned to draw a labyrinth on the floor. In keeping with the building, I made the pattern a dodecagon (12 sides), the only one I ever made (see photo).
