Our generous donor is a beautiful tapestry of the Nativity Scene for our 2020 auction.  Here is a note from the donor:

I have had this tapestry for about 15 years and I purchased it new from a small tapestry shop in Victoria, British Columbia. It original cost was $900. It hung in my living room for about 2 to 3 years and it did not get direct sun on it. It has been stored carefully in a dark closet since then. The back of the tapestry has a fold to slide a rod through and I also have a rod that goes with it if the new owner wanted the rod also. The tapestry measures 56 inches by 36 inches.

This tapestry could be appropriate for a private home as well as a chapel, a church, a school or any place where worship and prayer takes place. I traveled with Lauren and Dawn to Chartres in May 2015. It was a wonderful time of prayer and ritual and grounded me in a unique way. .
