Description
Do you know or have children that have very different personalities? This book is for you! The winning bidder will receive a signed hardcover book that was written by Kristen Giang (Brynn & Luna's Auntie!). The book was written with young (age 3-7) Asian Amercian children in mind. This is a story about self identity and children will enjoy seeing themselves represented in this contemporary picture book...and laugh at all the ways we can be different yet still come together at the end. Published by Levine Querido Arthur (Very beary tooth fairy, The boy who drew cats, Monday is one day).
Synopsis
There is no doubt that you can be close to someone who's very different from you. Ginger is excitable; she leaps into action, throwing herself headfirst into any project. Chrysanthemum is cooler-headed; she likes to plan, she's organized. She makes lists. Yet they are cousins, close as two beans in a pod.
But planning Grandma's birthday together is a pretty huge challenge. There are presents to buy, decorations to pick, and a special birthday cake to bake. Together. How they manage it is a testament to affection being stronger than differences.
