Welcome to the Alcove, a year-round lakeside retreat home! The Alcove is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a large slate deck that runs across the lake side. We have two king beds, seven twin beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a large second refrigerator in the lower level, a dining table that seats 10, two TVs and DVD players,  a gas fireplace and wireless internet. 

We can accommodate up to 10 guests looking for a quiet place to unwind. Past guests include crafting groups, families, church groups, and vacationers.

Amery is located in western Wisconsin, just over one hour from the Twin Cities. The Alcove is a five-minute walk from downtown Amery. There you will find an ice cream shop, a classic one-screen movie and live theater, several coffee shops, gift and antique stores and numerous cafes and restaurants.

The Alcove retreat is adjacent to the Stower Seven Lakes recreational trail (motorized vehicles are not permitted), and the Cattail State Trail (motorized vehicles are permitted). North Twin Lake connects to Pike Lake via a nearby channel. Feel free to use our paddleboat, canoe, or kayaks to explore both lakes.
