Square One Café while supporting vegans, allows non-vegans an opportunity to see how great vegan food can taste in an environment welcoming to all, and at a price everyone can afford.
Grab a bite to eat at Square One, then take a stroll down Jay Street to the Open Door Book Store, Schenectady's locally-owned independent bookstore and gift gallery, serving the capital region for more than 45 years. They carry a wide selection of literature, with an emphasis on children's books and those of local and regional interest, as well as an expansive variety of toys, gifts, jewelry, stationery, personal accessories and home goods.
