Pink Owl Coffee is a new roastery with delicious, rich coffee and a cozy hang-out space in San Rafael's West End. It's owned and operated by Joe Carlo and Saandra Bowlus, who moved to San Rafael just over three years ago. Saandra is a breast cancer survivor, and Pink Owl Coffee derives its name partly from the owners' desire to support women in this important endeavor. Pink Owl's goal is to be able to contribute 10% of annual revenue to breast cancer research and support for women.
