The Heritage Farmstead Museum, located in Plano, TX is the premiere history site interpreting the Texas black-land prairie region in north TX.  An American Association of Museums accredited institution, the HFM strives to offer a unique experience for people of many ages, interests, and backgrounds.  The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-4:30.  Whether your passion is history, farming, volunteering or animals, you can find it all in the center of downtown Plano.
