John and Julia Marshall founded CrossFit Richardson in 2008. John grew up in Richardson and is a Richardson High School alumni. He attended the University of Alabama, where he played baseball and received his Bachelors Degree in Nutrition. While attending college, John met Julia, who cheered for the University of Alabama. She received her Bachelors in Dietetics and went on to obtain her Masters Degree as a Physicians Assistant. After college, they moved to the Dallas area and started CrossFit Richardson. Since that time, they have been dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles through building a CrossFit community that serves Richardson, North Dallas, and surrounding areas.
