JHS birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays and designed for children in grades K-8.

Includes:

-      3-hour birthday party held at the JHS Adoption & Education Center for up to 20 children

-      Visit from the Kona Ice shaved ice truck (does not include the cost of purchased shaved ice)

-      All setup and breakdown of tables and chairs, dog- and cat-themed table décor, balloons, tablecloths, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils (balloons and tableware will be in JHS colors, orange and green)

-      Tour of Adoption Center and brief orientation to JHS

-      Visit with 1-2 JHS dogs

-      Birthday child’s choice of a visit with JHS kittens (if available) or time in our adult cat group rooms

-      Birthday child’s choice of 1 of the following activities:

o   No-bake dog treats

o   Dog snack packs

o   Handmade dog toys

o   Decorating dog bandanas

o   Adoption posters for dogs

o   No-bake cat treats

o   Wand toys for cats

o   Catnip toys

o   Adoption posters for cats

-      1 animal-themed game (for example, Animal Musical Chairs or Animal Charades)

-      Birthday child gets to name 1 shelter animal (their choice of dog, cat, or kitten)

-      1 paw print-themed party favor for each child in attendance

-      1 special gift for the birthday child
