The Livestock Guarding Dog (LGD) programme at CCF in Namibia is responsible for mitigating the human-wildlife-conflict by 80% to 100%, which has increased the population of the cheetah making Namibia the cheetah capital of the world.

CCF has placed more than 600 dogs with Namibian farmers since the program began in 1994. The dogs are credited with saving hundreds of cheetah lives since the LGD program began, as well as the lives of other predators and small stock.
