Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad coastal excursions are a wonderful way to get out in nature and view the beautiful coastal scenery in a whole new way being pulled by vintage diesel and steam engines.  The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad is a steam-powered heritage railroad, a 501c non-profit organization, operating in Oregon, primarily between Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach, with additional special trips to Wheeler, Nehalem River and into the Salmonberry River canyon. The railroad travels on tracks that pass along the edge of Tillamook Bay and the Oregon Coast, and through thick forest along the Nehalem River. 

Regular Coastal and Spring Break Excursions run between Garibaldi and Roackaway Beach and Fall Splendor Excursions run from Wheeler through the forest to Batterson.
