Item Number: 158
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Tour the Benton County Historical Society and Museum's Collection Vault.
This includes 4 One-Time Admission passes to the Corvallis Museum when it opens.
This guided tour for up to 4 people takes you 'behind the scenes' into the Benton County Historical Society's collection vault where you will be able to view how the museum stores and cares for its extensive collection of over120,000 artifacts which includes textiles, clothing, domestic arts, farm implements, taxidermy, scientific instruments, vehicles, furniture, personal possessions and so much more!
Thanks to a generous gift from Peter and Rosalie Johnson, the Johnson Collections Center now houses our artifacts in a state-of-the-art facility that protects them and keeps them organized. The temperature controlled environment is especially important for preserving delicate materials such as quilts, wood, textiles and animal skins.
