Artists Bio
Heather Gillespie is a landscape painter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. In youth, she studied fine art at Symposium School of Art and The University of Manitoba. She began painting again after raising her family and working many years in healthcare. Recently retired, she now devotes her time to refining her acrylic painting skills.
Heather embraces emotion and mixes it with bold colour and light which dances from her brush onto canvas. She delights in sharing her visual impression of our Canadian landscapes.

I recently saw an advertisement requesting donations from artists for the online Art Auction for Lighthouse Mission. It was posted on social media for Cre8ery Gallery members. I thought donating to this auction would be a great opportunity to help in a way that I am able to.
