Cassidy Keown is a 16 year old artist from Brandon Manitoba. She has only been painting for about a year, starting when her 10th grade art teacher assigned students a big painting project. That moment reminded her how much she loved art and that really restarted this passion.

Growing up she has always found herself doing something with colour, whether is was finger-painting or decorating her family's driveway with chalk. When people asked her what she wanted to do, she would responded with "Be an artist". But now as this love has gotten more serious and she is no longer drawing flowers on her drive way, she mainly focuses on working with realism art concepts. Lately she has been trying her hand at a more abstract take on things.
