Do you love the Los Angeles Zoo’s animals?
Spend a morning with the Los Angeles Zoo’s Director of Research (and Waverly Parent) Dr. Cathleen Cox and find out much more about them.
The zoo’s research team does observational studies of many different species including the family gorilla group, which includes new baby Angela. Dr. Cox will show you how to recognize the individual gorillas, elephants, hippos and more as you walk the zoo grounds. She will also share how animal enrichment is achieved.
Dr. Cathleen Cox, Zoo Research Director (and Waverly Parent), will provide a personalized tour to a group that shelters together. Experience is for up to six people who shelter together and will be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date between the winning bidder and Dr. Cox Zoo admission is included.
Los Angeles Zoo provides homes for more than 295 species including youngsters such as Angela gorilla born January 18, 2020 and oldsters such Eloise orangutan who is 51 years of age.

Zoo currently closed. Tour can be arranged once COVID restrictions on visitation are lifted.
Certificates will be mailed to the winning bidder at an additional cost. The Waverly School and/or donors are not responsible for shipping fees.
