This year the entire kindergarten class (K-Guss and K-Koon) joined together to create two pieces that speaks to the bond the class created from day one. All of the challenges and distance created this school-year could not keep them from showing their bond. For this art piece, the kids chose a color and got a little messy using various types of finger-paints to paint their right hand and transferred it onto card-stock paper. The more paint, the more textures and patterns shown through in the handprint. Though they were in different locations, the kids' individual handprints were combined and transformed to create one colorful and symbolic handprint. 

The artwork is a collection of all of the kindergarten students’ handprints meshed together in one symbolic poster, framed in black wood, 24” x 32.”
