This folding meditation bench from TheZenOgre is made from responsibly harvested solid mahogany, hand-crafted by the shop owner Michael Sheldon.

The legs fold for convenience, with small velcro patches to secure them in the folded position. Michael uses no chemical varnishes, dyes, colors, etc; only a coating of Howard Butcher Block oil (FDA-grade mineral oil, beeswax, carnauba wax) for a basic sealant.

The seat edges are rounded for comfort on the user's legs. The bench legs flare out at roughly 10 degree angles for stability; the leg bottoms are rounded to accommodate the individual height and/or hip-knee-foot triangle of the user when kneeling. Approximately 16.5" long, 7.25" deep, and 7" tall.

As is the nature of wood, slight variations in appearance may occur.

Michael says "Meditation benches are important to me because meditation itself has helped with stress and anxiety. By blocking out the clutter in your mind, you can listen to the universe. During meditation I use one of these benches, so I stand behind the product. Or kneel on the product, as the case would be."
