Jenny Amory wrote Moon Walk to share her experience of taking her children when they were four and six years old to see the moon. They ambled from their back yard through the forest toward a nearby sandy beach. They then sat in silence on a wooden bench and communed with the moon shining over a beautiful lake.

Jenny has studied with Thich Nhat Hanh in several retreats in the U.S. and in Plum Village. She received the Five Mindfulness Trainings in 2013 at Blue Cliff Monastery and was given the Dharma name Life-giving Solidity of the Heart.
