The 8.5 mm fine quality cultured pearl in this necklace is strung on a gold wire that passes through it and secures it in its delicately suspended setting. One of Cole's handmade gold leaf-and-vine motifs sweeps down along one side of the pearl with one tendril acting as the bail for the chain to slide through.

Diamonds are recycled mined gems, high quality, generally G to I in color or better, SI1 clarity. Where gems are treated, the treatments are normal, permanent & standard for the gem. His preference is for completely untreated natural gems.
