We have a more than well-established familiarity with the three varietals that constitute this blend.
Surviving vines back to 1927 says it all for Marsanne and whilst not quite the same longevity with Roussanne and Viognier, plantings back to 1990 and 2001 respectively is still not too shabby!
This longevity has given us a great feel for each varietal individually, and also how those individual characters would then mesh together, and mesh they deliciously do in our latest triple blend incarnation.
Vibrant and textural, the gestalt melding of the three is seamless with apple blossom and rose petal aromas weaving across apricot and warm peach flavours with spicy, toasted almond hints before finishing with a fresh mineral-like acidity.
Let it impress you alongside an oozy seafood risotto or spicy Asian stir-fry.
