Realistic Hand-Tied Dragonfly in Glass Display

This beautiful Dragonfly was hand tied and mounted by Mike Morphew, an FFI Gold Level fly tier who specializes in "ultra-realistic" insects.

Originally from England and a former chef at Buckingham Palace, Mike was asked in 2003 to create a salmon fly display for Her Royal Highness Princess Anne. Mike has been tying flies and fishing for trout, salmon and saltwater fish for over 50 years. He donated this unique item to support the CfR mission.
