Christian Fritz is an avid fly fisherman, fly tyer, and fly rod builder living in San Marcos, Texas. He is a veteran of the Air Force, a graduate student at Texas State University, a conservation dog handler with K9s 4 Conservation, and a participant and casting instructor with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. He began fly fishing with PHWFF and instantly fell in love with the sport.

Since then, he has caught trout in 10 different states, started building his own fly fishing rods, and tying his own flies. Last year, he won second place in the PHWFF national casting championship in Bozeman, MT.

His love of fly fishing is matched by his love of sharing his passion with others! In order to "Pay-It-Forward," he decided to build and donate a rod to Casting for Recovery in recognition of their excellent work with those dealing with breast cancer.
