Description

Up to four people (two couples or three singles) will enjoy a two-night stay in the Western Catskills.  You will stay in a private, spacious log home, with exclusive access to two private stretches on the upper East Branch of the Delaware River and access to one exclusive stretch on the lower West Branch of the Delaware River.

Your host will prepare dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, and breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  All towels and linens are provided. Wine, beer, and liquor is also provided. Plan to arrive any time after 3:00 PM on Friday and depart on Sunday after breakfast.  Your host will present a series of gourmet menu options.

Please note: the living space is elevated so you must be able to climb stairs to access your accommodations.

Bring your own fishing gear and flies.  A well-stocked fly-tying bench is available. You may smoke outside on the deck.  The owner cannot guarantee the water conditions (specifically flow volume) during your selected booking.  New York fishing license is required.

This log home, known as River’s Bend, is owned by Stephen Fauer and Carol Gordon.  River’s Bend is 13 years old and was designed and built to the owner's specifications.  The log home exists for the personal use of the owners and their friends.  Because of their dedication to Casting for Recovery, they offer their home and hospitality to raise much-needed funds.

Plan to fish between May 1 and June 27, 2021.  Memorial weekend (May 21-24, 2021) is blacked out.  Incredible fishing can be had a mere 400 feet from the back door! Book early to ensure availability for your selected weekend because the owner fishes there extensively.
