Photo measures 5" x 7" in size and has been hand-signed and inscribed in blue and felt-tip pens by Charles Sweeney, C. D. Albury, Fred Olivi, John D. Kuharek, Norman Ray Gallagher, and Allan L. Moore


Charles W. Sweeney served as a major in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned to the Great Artiste as the aircraft commander and participated in the mission to bomb Hiroshima as co-pilot of the Great Artiste. Days later, he was the aircraft commander on strike plane Bockscar during the Nagasaki Mission.


Charles D. "Don" Albury served as a Captain in the 1027th Air Material Squadron and as a commander on the Great Artiste, one of the planes that flew in the 1945 mission to bomb Hiroshima. He also flew in Bockscar as the co-pilot in the mission to Nagasaki.


Frederick J. Olivi served as a member of the 393rd Bombardment Squadron of the 509th Composite Group. He was regularly assigned to the Great Artiste but was pre-empted from the Hiroshima Mission due to the number of scientific personnel required. Days later, he participated in the Nagasaki Mission as the co-pilot of Bockscar.


John D. Kuharek served as a master sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was assigned to the Great Artiste as a flight engineer and flew in the mission to Hiroshima. He participated in the Nagasaki mission as the flight engineer of Bockscar.


Allan L. Moore served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 The Great Artiste.
