The lithographs seen here I consider to be paintings as they cannot be reproduced and come from a very small editions. They are unique prints because of the drawing technique done with a number 5 lithography pencil on a finely ground stone down to #220 grit that likens itself to skin or space. The imagery is also poetic and existential. The lithographs were printed by me on a high quality limestone.

No one ever believes that Alexandra Pappas' artwork was done by Sandy Pappas. Sometimes my medications make it difficult for me to do my artwork. I am working on it in recovery. My dream is to wake up early and draw and give thanks, working into the wee hours.
