Artist Statement: MOHAMMAD JAWID AHMADI

Mohammad Jawid Ahmadi is an 11-year old refugee from Afghanistan that has resettled in the Hampton Roads area. A quote from him, "I love to paint, and that's why I do it." His work has been featured in an art show held by Commonwealth Catholic Charities and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He shows talent and promise in the field of art at such an early age. His favorite class in school is art!
